Monitors the safety and behaviour of skaters and assists in the general maintenance of the ice rink.

Is stationed at the skate rental counter, on the ice, and at entrance/exit points to monitor admissions into the ice rink.

Ensures the safety and proper conduct of customers (skaters) through the understanding and enforcement of ice rink policies and procedures.

Assists in the maintenance of the ice rink, including ensuring proper upkeep of skates and the skate rental counter.

Supports the Rink Supervisor in ice resurfacing and ice-building activities after operating hours.

Responds quickly, safely, and appropriately to both medical and non-medical emergency situations.

Provides assistance to customers (skaters) who require help while on the ice.

Contributes to achieving the company’s financial and strategic objectives.

Ensures promotional events and functions held at the ice rink are executed smoothly.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

Prior experience in an ice rink, sports facility, or facilities maintenance environment will be an added advantage.

Physically fit and able to work comfortably in a cold environment for extended periods.

Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operations.

Able to operate machinery and equipment safely; training will be provided.

Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.

Able to follow safety procedures, instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Possesses basic customer service skills and the ability to interact politely with customers.

Able to remain calm and responsive during emergency or high-pressure situations.
