Job Description
Oversee, coordinate, and manage tenant fit-out works to ensure smooth execution, quality, compliance, and adherence to approved specifications.
Review tenant concept design submissions and provide design direction and store planning guidance to tenants and their designers.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure timelines are met, and verify compliance with approved drawings and mall regulations.
Arrange and conduct site inspections with tenant and internal teams at key project stages up to business commencement.
Coordinate with internal teams (Leasing, Technical) and external parties (Architects, M&E Consultants, Contractors) to resolve landlord provisions, tenant requests, and site issues.
Maintain and update mall master plans, tenancy layouts, and landlord provision schedules to ensure accuracy.
Maintain organized project records and documentation from initiation through completion for future reference.
Execute assigned interior design projects.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports, highlighting challenges, delays, and resolutions to management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in interior design and/or fit-out projects.
Exposure to current design trends, preferably within retail or commercial environments.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to construction and fit-out processes.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative, with proficiency in relevant design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, etc.
Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu; Proficiency in Chinese and/or Tamil will be an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team while maintaining high standards of work quality.
