The Design Intern will assist the Marketing Department in producing engaging visual content and supporting ongoing campaigns, events, and promotions. The intern will work closely with the Marketing team to conceptualize, design, and execute marketing collaterals while ensuring alignment with Sunway’s branding guidelines.
Assist in designing marketing materials including posters, banners, social media content, eDMs, and brochures.
Support the creation of casual leasing decks, vendor proposals, and brand partnership materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for campaigns and events.
Edit and retouch images for mall-related promotions and digital platforms.
Maintain visual consistency across all marketing touchpoints in accordance with Sunway’s brand guidelines.
Assist in event photography, videography, and simple video editing when required.
Perform other ad-hoc creative tasks as assigned.

Education & Background:
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and basic video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut).
Basic understanding of social media content creation and design trends.
Creative thinking with strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:
Available for a minimum 3-month internship (preferably 6 months).
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Passionate about design, branding, and marketing.
