We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Marketing Executive (Contract) to join the Sunway Malls Southern Cluster team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving footfall, shopper engagement, and brand visibility across three key properties: Sunway Big Box Retail Park, Sunway Citrine Hub, and Sunway Puteri Hills. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end marketing campaigns, managing tenant relations, and handling essential administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the marketing department.
1. Campaign Execution & Communications
Monthly Campaign Management: Spearhead the planning, coordination, and on-ground execution of monthly marketing campaigns and festive events across all three properties.
Communications Planning: Develop and implement effective communication strategies for each campaign, ensuring consistent messaging across social media, digital platforms, PR, and in-mall physical assets.
2. Advertising & Promotions (A&P)
Tenant Relations: Act as the primary marketing liaison for mall tenants, fostering strong relationships and encouraging participation in mall-wide promotional activities.
Event Management: Handle inbound event inquiries, coordinate with external event organizers, and oversee the logistical setup of promotional spaces.
Rental Collection: Manage and monitor the collection of A&P and event space rentals in a timely manner.
3. Marketing Administration & Finance
Budget Management: Assist in monthly marketing budget planning, tracking expenses, and ensuring accurate financial closings at the end of each month.
Contract Generation: Draft, process, and manage contracts, agreements, and licenses for vendors, agencies, and event organizers.
4. Special Projects & Support
Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist the wider management team with special projects, market research, and resolving ad-hoc marketing inquiries as they arise.
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, Event Planning or a related field.
1– 3 years of experience in marketing, event management, or advertising (retail/shopping mall experience is a strong advantage).
Strong financial acumen for budget tracking and administrative tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage overlapping deadlines across multiple properties.
Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays during major mall events or campaign launches.
Strong foundation in event planning, campaign strategy, and marketing execution.
