Key Responsibilities
Tenant Prospecting & Market Research
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer profiling to identify suitable brands and tenants aligned with the mall’s positioning.
Source and evaluate potential tenants to enhance the mall’s retail mix and customer experience.
Tenant Engagement & Lease Negotiation
Initiate contact with prospective tenants, schedule meetings, and present leasing opportunities.
Assist in lease negotiations for new tenancies and renewals, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and legal standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to finalize lease terms and secure tenant commitment.
Tenancy Administration & Documentation
Prepare and manage all tenancy-related documentation including tenancy agreements, renewal memos, and leasing reports.
Maintain accurate records of lease terms, renewal schedules, and tenant activities.
Liaise with legal advisors to ensure all leasing documents are compliant and protect the landlord’s interests.
Push Cart Leasing & Support
Oversee leasing and renewals of push carts and temporary retail spaces within the mall.
Support rental collection and follow-up on outstanding payments where necessary.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the key liaison between the leasing division, legal team, and tenants to resolve tenancy-related issues and ensure smooth onboarding.
Provide administrative support and ensure timely execution of leasing tasks and documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Certificate in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related fields.
Minimum 1 year of experience in leasing, tenancy administration, or retail property management.
Strong understanding of retail leasing dynamics, tenant mix strategy, and commercial negotiation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Proactive, independent, and able to work collaboratively across departments.
